First Families of the Swan River Colony - John & Rebecca Morgan
Marooned on Carnac Island in charge of the women and children for five days when the Parmelia grounded. John was in charge of the Government Stores at the first settlement on Garden Island and was still there with his family in tents in July 1830. Had Perth Lots G2, L40, L63 and L65, L66 in 1832. Rebecca had Perth Lot A14 in 1833 and Fremantle Lot Sub K in 1832.
Was allowed to select 5000 acres.
Departed per the 'Eagle' 2 November for Van Diemens Land taking up a position as Police Magistrate.
