Married 8 December 1843 at Picton to Harriet Moore (born c1827) who arrived on the ship 'Diadem' 10 April 1842. Had various occupations including the Picton Inn near Bunbury. James Thompson died 21 February 1890 at Picton and Harriet died in 1913.
