Charles had Fremantle Lot 48 in 1833. Perth Lots C8 in 1833, E9 in 1834 and Elizabeth had Fremantle Lot 65 in 1833. Charles commenced the Perth Gazette in 1833. He was a postmaster at Fremantle in 1832 and Perth Postmaster in 1835. Government Printer in 1835. Charles died December 1846 and Eliza carried on with the 'Perth Gazette' for a few years after Charles's death. Eliza departed the colony per the 'Waterlily' in July 1849.
