Indentured servant to Tanner. In the 1837 Census was on George Elliot's farm. Married December 1844. Farmer at Swan District. Licensee of Robert Hood and Little John Inn in 1852. Held pastoral and tillage leases 1852 at Wooroloo and bought several Swan locations. Mailcarrier Toodyay - Guildford run. Qualified as a juror in 1860 with personal estate value of 150 pounds. Richard died in 1878 at Swan and Mary died 17 March 1910 at Fremantle. Daughter Jane married William Morley in 1865 at Upper Swan. Jane died 2 January 1921.
