When the 63rd Regiment departed, Patrick transferred to the 21st Regiment and became a mounted policeman at the Murray River. Accompanied GF Moore to the Moore River in 1835 and also in 1835 accompanied Roe to King George's Sound. Anne died 5 September 1865 and Patrick died 15 March 1888.
