Married Mary Lucille Birkett (daughter of James & Josephine) who arrived on the Protector on 23 November 1833 at Perth. Clerk in Surveyor General's Office and then employed by Lionel Samson at Fremantle. Land grants included Avon Location L - 1280 acres and Perth Town Lots 03, X1, X5, S17 and L63-5. His wife was a midwife in 1839. He left the Colony 12 January 1842 per 'Elizabeth' and returned in 1844 per 'Velocity' from Sydney. Departed again in December 1846 per 'Joseph Albino'. His wife departed in January 1848.
