Arrived with brother William - sent out with the Children's Friend Society. Married Edward John Harold Byfield 7 June 1841 at Perth. He arrived on the 'Westmoreland' in 1840. Edward was the licensee of the 'Prince of Wales' Inn at Mahogany Creek. Edward died 29 January 1863 and after his death Jane carried on with the lease until her second marriage to James Gregory (Dorman) on 3 October 1863. She had two more children Henry Dorman born in 1864 and Mary Eliza born 1867. Jane died 29 August 1872.
