Selected 1300 acres. Had an inn at Perth Flats - licenced 4 October 1830. Won contract to furnish Perth Hospital in 1830 and employed 12 men. Departed the Colony 17 January 1831 on the 'Eagle' for Van Diemens Land. Another son Charles Chaulk was born 1832 in Tasmania.
