Frances was the widow of Reverend William Marchant Bussell and had nine children. She came to the Colony to join some of her children, Joseph Vernon, John Garrett, Alfred Pickmore and Charles (arrived on the 'Warrior'), Elizabeth Capel and Frances (Fanny) (arrived on the 'Cygnet'.)
