Edward arrived with brothers James and Richard Gallop. Married Ellen Kelly (widow of Thomas Kelly) on 24 June 1837 at Guildford. He was a shepherd and employed a Parkhurst boy. Departed for South Australia in 1852 per the ship 'Louisa'. His wife went to York to live with her daughter.
