Thomas married Anne (who had been widowed twice to Watson and Farmer) taking responsibility for five of Anne's children. They married on 12 November 1843 at Perth and they had one child between them. Thomas died on 12 March 1867. Ann died on 27 December 1870 and is buried in the East Perth Cemetery.
