Arrived as the Assistant Surgeon to the 63rd Regiment. Had Perth Town Lot L26 in 1830. Was allocated 2,560 acres and took 500 acres in the Swan district and 2060 acres in the Avon district in 1830. Opened first colonial hospital in 1830 in the Swan River Colony. Transferred to India and departed the Colony in 1834 per the 'Merope'.
