Thomas married Sarah Stoyle at Guildford in 1845. She arrived on the ship 'Ganges' 15 October 1841 as a nurserymaid. Thomas Millard was Sarah Heal's brother. His sister Sarah, was married to Lt. Charles Heal. Thomas was granted Guildford Lot 4 on 19 April 1830. In the 1836 Census he was listed as being aged 26 and living in Swan location. In the 1837 census he was recorded as a cooper and wheelwright. Applied for land at 'Nardie' Toodyay in the 1860's. Thomas died 7 March 1890 at Toodyay.
