Luke and Mary Ann married in England. Luke came out with his mother Ann Heading and his niece Ann Elizabeth. Mary Ann and children came out later. Selected 5000 acres in the Canning district. Luke died 12 July 1838. His wife Mary Ann returned to England on the 'Brothers' with two children in 1839. She returned to the Colony in 1841 with one child.
