Married Ann Elizabeth twice 24 March 1832 and 3 April 1832 at Fremantle. She married Alfred Green after the death of James. James died 18 August 1834 when the ship 'Cumberland' foundered in a storm near Safety Bay. Ann was the daughter of James Woodward Turner. Ann (Green) died 25 August 1867 at Toodyay.
