Marmaduke was a farmer with Clarkson. His wife was indentured as housekeeper to Clarkson. Had Perth Lot W82 in 1833. The couple were staunch Methodists and Marmaduke was trustee of the chapel. Mary Hutton had a half interest in a farm with Joseph Hardey. The share was bequeathed to relatives in England. Mary worked as a haberdasher, linen draper and dealer in St. George's Terrace, Perth. Marmaduke died 1 August 1843 at Peninsula and Mary died in 1858 aged 65 years.
