Granted 200 acres in Canning district. Shipwright and builder of flats for horse ferry work. In 1832 was in partnership with Mews. Departed per the 'Dispatch' for Mauritius in 1848. Samuel returned to the Colony and died 15 July 1879 at Thompsons Lakes.
