It is believed Marianne arrived on the 'Egyptian'. Married 23 April 1833 at Fremantle. Marianne died 16 June 1841 in India. Samuel married a second time to Elizabeth Burke on 12 February 1842. Was in the horse trade making frequent trips to India. Owned Town Lots at Geraldton 1857-8 and had mining interests at Champion Bay in 1860's. Samuel died 30 June 1876 at Fremantle.
