Elizabeth (first wife) died 9 June 1830 aged 27 years at Clarence. She was thrown into the water on embarking and died of wetting, exposure and dysentry. Son John died 8 July 1830 at nine months of age also at Clarence. Married a second time to Elizabeth Nixon who arrived on the 'Sterling' 4 June 1831. Married 16 May 1837 at Guildford. Granted Lot 90 at Guildford in 1840. Agent for Hamersley in 1840's. Richard died 22 June 1889. His second wife Elizabeth died in 1885 aged 85years.
