Henry was appointed Civil Engineer in 1829. Responsible for the design of all Public Works in the Colony. Requested Government money for a mill near the bottom of Mill Street in Perth. Had Fremantle Lots 66 and 34 in 1834. Land at Albany S2 in 1832. Perth Lots L15, L16 and X25 between 1829-1833. Returned to Cape Town per the 'Pioneer' (an American whaler) on 30 November 1838.
