William and family arrived in 1830 to join his brothers Daniel, Thomas and George. The family settled in the Toodyay/Bolgart area and worked on farms and did carpentry work. William died 19 June 1847 at Perth. Elizabeth received an legacy from England in 1854 and bequeathed the inheritance to her daughter Mary Ann who cared for Elizabeth until she died 19 April 1871 at Perth. Sarah Ann married John Robert Thompson and William Edward married Frances Martin. Mary Ann married John Tasker in 1872.
