Granted 2,500 acres - selected 1806 acres in Swan District and 100 acres at Cockburn. The family had land at Fremantle Lots 115, 116, 117, 119, 440 and 441 between 1830 and 1833. Had Swan Location F which he named Albion Town. His wife Susannah died 7 April 1839. Albion Town was sold when he returned to England with his family on 15 April 1843 per the 'Houghton Le Skerne.'
