Ladies-maid servant to Lady Stirling. Mentioned in the 1832 Census. Had a child with Charles Norcott. Charles Norcott died in Ireland 7 March 1838 where he had gone to purchase stock and proposed returning to the Colony. He died not knowing of the birth of his daughter. The child was adopted by Mrs Charles Boyd. Rachel married Michael Hornby 12 May 1849. He arrived on the 'Runnymede' 25 June 1840. He was a Private in the 51st Regiment. He transferred to 96th Regiment and was discharged in 1849. Became a Farmer at Guildford. Employed 27 ticket-of-leave men at Henley Park 1862-69. Rachel died 11 June 1887 and Michael died 5 October 1881 at Perth. Mary Lucille married Joseph Thomas Reilly in 1855.
