Lieutenant - late of East India Company or the Royal Navy. Had land at Rottnest in 1831 (the land was later resigned). He was a Fremantle fisherman. Child Mary died of typhus in 1833. John went to South Australia in May 1848 per the 'Arpenteur'. Wife was a storekeeper at Perth. Mary died 20 November 1863. Son John married Emily Ann Lockyer daughter of James and Ann in November 1844.
