Probably born at 'Peelfold' England. Brought out many settlers under the ill-fated 'Peel Scheme'. Thomas's wife and three children came later with her mother Bridget AYRTON. Mary and daughters departed for England per 'Shepherd' in 1840. Daughter Dora returned to the Colony in 1858 and married Henry Hastings Hall on 28 April 1867 at Mandurah. Daughter Julia died 6 July 1856 in England. Thomas' wife Mary died 1 May 1857 aged 57 years also in England. Bridget died at Mandurah 31 March 1845 and her son-in-law Thomas Peel died 21 December 1865 at Mandurah. Refer book: 'Thomas Peel of Swan River'.
