Samuel arrived with servants Guy Maple, William and James House. Was granted 6,040 acres which he selected in the Helena district. Had Fremantle Lot 336 in 1830 and Perth Lot C7 in 1829. Was in the party that explored the Collie River in 1830. Went to Van Diemens Land in 1830 and returned with sheep. Departed the Colony in 1840 per the 'Scout'.
