It is believed Charles was a stowaway. Employed by George Fletcher Moore, the Advocate General. Married Ellen England (born c1833) at Perth on 15 June 1854. Ellen arrived on the 'Victory' in March 1854. He was an Innkeeper at Wooroloo in the late 1850's and a farmer at Katrine near York in the 1870's. Ellen died 17 April 1886 and Charles died 30 November 1893.
