Former Captain 51st Regiment. Was a JP in 1830 and a Superintendent of Natives Tribes in 1834. Granted 18,053 acres - he selected 4000 acres in Canning and 14,000 acres in the Avon district. Land - Fremantle Lots 99 and 100 between 1829 and 1832. Brought servant Joseph Knevitt. Lived on a farm 'Coleraine' in the Canning District. Peter departed per the 'Elizabeth' in March 1836 for Van Diemens Land. His wife and son followed in February 1838 on the 'Gaillardon'.
