One son William was born on the voyage to the Swan River Colony. Robert worked as a millwright and carpenter in Perth. He also worked as a labourer. Had Fremantle Lot 310 in 1832 and Perth Lot D8 in 1833. He qualified as a juror with 150 pounds estate. Sons William and George were pupils at Perth School in 1834. Robert died 10 July 1868 at Perth and Hannah died 21 November 1883 at Perth. Both are buried in East Perth Cemetery.
