Arrived with brother William. His sister was married to James Lloyd, to whom he was indentured as a mechanic. Had land at Fremantle Lots 124, 328, 386, 540, 541 and S386 between 1830 and 1834. In 1844 and 1845 built the ship 'River Chief' in Mandurah. In 1846 he was declared bankrupt.
