Widow on arrival - Mrs Sarah Massingham came out with the Children's Friend Society with twelve children including two sons and two daughters of her own. She married Edwin Knott on the 8 February 1839. Edwin had property at Avon in 1850. York farmer 1867 to 1876. Employed 3 ticket-of-leave men at 'Arnold Farm'. Sarah died 17 December 1876 at Upper Swan and Edwin died 4 December 1887.
