George arrived with several servants. Went to Augusta where he was assigned Town Lots 23 and 69. At Augusta he held positions of Government Resident's Clerk in 1830 and Pilot and Harbour Master. When Augusta was in crisis, George sailed a small boat to Fremantle to alert the Governor. Departed 23 July 1832 per 'Monkey' for Port Essington. Returned to England 1835.
