Phillip arrived with servants John and Sarah Limer. Was granted 6520 acres and selected 2000 acres in the Swan District. He selected a further 4520 acres in Plantagenet in 1831. He had land at Fremantle, Albany, Guildford and Perth. He was a relative of Henry Dod & Co who had business dealings with the pioneer settlers. Philip opened a store in Fremantle in 1830. He was selling wheat to the Commissariat. He departed the Colony per the 'Cornwallis' on 17 January 1832.
