John was the son of Daniel and Hannah Wansbrough and Frances was the daughter of Sarah Massingham. They married 22 January 1856. Frances died 31 August 1856 at Beverley. John married for a second time to Ruth Taylor 6 May 1861 at Beverley. John died 24 October 1865 at York.
