Charles was a widower and was indentured to Foley. Ran a lodging house in Perth. Appears in the 1837 Census at Perth. Had Fremantle Lots 64 and 277 approved but later resigned. Departed the Colony in April 1845 on the ship 'Victoria' to South Australia to follow his daughter.
